Upgrade Touchpad on Asus Eee PC to Enable More Multitouch Abilities

Multitouch on Asus Eee PC 1005HA has a difference of other product scrolling that you can push or pull one finger along the right side of the touchpad for up or down scrolling and the bottom side of the touchpad for right or left scrolling. But somebody are acquainted with 2 finger scrolling or 3 finger flick and need to change back to the old method on Asus Eee PC 1005HA. So you can follow the instruction from us.

This instruction provides to enable multitouch abilities for 3 features on Asus Eee PC 1005HA.

1.    Two finger scrolling, to move the page in vertical and horizontal directions.
2.    Three finger flick, to go back or forth in documents, photos, presentations and other files.
3.    Three finger down, to quickly launch applications.

The instruction to enable multitouch abilities on Asus Eee PC 1005HA:

1.    Uninstall the current touchpad driver in your Asus Eee PC 1005HA and restart.
2.    Download the latest touchpad driver version 13.0.1.0 on Asus Support. (You must select OS, then go to Touchpad and download file in Version V13.0.1.0) Unzip Touchpad1.zip file and double click to install driver and restart again.
3.    Download synpd_enableSGS.zip file. Then unzip this file. You will see synpd_enableSGS.inf file and right click on this file and select “Install” option. So the new multitouch features enable already and the driver icon will show on the Taskbar for you adjustment in the future.

Remark:   This instruction suits for MS Windows XP. If we have instruction for MS Windows 7 or Linux, we will update to you again.
